"Digital Machaan" is our flagship programme that aims to transform rural schools into digital-friendly environments, providing online learning resources and digital infrastructure to empower students in remote areas, aligning with India's Digital India mission. Some projects under this are:
Our Founder
The impact entrepreneur Prema Mishra has 29+ year's experience as an educator.
She is Founder-MD of UCatapult Foundation.Former COO, Rainbow International school, Mumbai. She worked extensively in Delhi with Delhi Public School (DPS) & GD Goenka school in leadership roles.
Among 9 people short listed by CBSE & Sports ministry to define PE curriculum in India. She is also Advisor & Mentor to many NGO’s and upcoming progressive schools. At present, she is running 20 Digital Machaan/Centers in Bihar and Five Digital Machaan in Zila Parishad schools in Beed & chalishgaon Districts, Maharashtra in collaboration with GVT & Panch patil team.

"Digital Machaan" is our flagship project that aims to transform rural schools into digital-friendly environments, providing online learning resources and digital infrastructure to empower students in remote areas, aligning with India's Digital India mission.It further comprises following projects:1. Digital Infrastructure Creation: Establishing a robust digital infrastructure in rural schools by providing computers, laptops, tablets, smart TV and other necessary equipment.2. Internet Connectivity: Ensuring reliable and high-speed internet connectivity, WiFi in these schools to facilitate seamless online learning.3. Online Learning Resources: Curating and providing access to a wide range of online educational resources, including interactive learning platforms, e-books, video lectures, and educational apps.

Digital Skills Training (Project Buniyaad): Conducting training sessions and workshops to enhance students' digital literacy and equip them with essential digital skills required in the 21st century.5. Teacher Capacity Building (Project Chestha): Organizing training programs for teachers to enhance their proficiency in leveraging digital tools and integrating technology into the classroom.6. Sustainable Maintenance: We work with Local governments, influencers and Panchayats to Develop a sustainable maintenance plan to ensure the longevity and effectiveness of the digital infrastructure implemented in the schools.7. Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitoring and evaluating the project's impact to measure the progress made and identify areas for improvements.

UCatapult Foundation emerged during the COVID-19 lockdown with a mission to educate, engage and empower students and community from the remotest hinterland districts of India. It is headquartered in Mumbai.The foundation is incubated with NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore. Initially starting its operations in Bihar villages, UCatapult successfully implemented various initiatives to provide digital education and skills to class V to Class X children.
By setting up digital learning centers (Digital Machaan) equipped with computers, internet connectivity, and educational software, the organization enabled students to access quality educational resources, online courses, and interactive learning platforms. Additionally, UCatapult conducted training programs for teachers, empowering them with the necessary skills to integrate technology into their teaching methodologies effectively.Driven by its success, UCatapult has now expanded its operations to Maharashtra, recognizing the need to address educational disparities in this region as well.
